1. Processing & Dispatch Timelines
Standard Dispatch: Orders are generally processed, packed, and dispatched within 2 to 3 working days after payment confirmation.

Peak Season Handling Buffer: During back-to-school periods, new syllabus announcements, or heavy order volumes, dispatch may require an additional handling buffer of 5 to 8 working days. Standard handling delays during these periods do not constitute grounds for order cancellation or refund claims.

Orders are not dispatched on Sundays and National/Gazetted Holidays.

2. Shipping Methods & Estimated Delivery
Logistics Partners: All consignments are routed through established domestic courier services (primarily DTDC Courier Express/Surface) and/or India Post (Speed Post).

Transit Duration: Once handed over to the courier partner, transit typically takes 3 to 8 business days, depending on your delivery pincode and regional connectivity.

Non-Guaranteed Estimates: Estimated delivery dates indicated on product pages, carts, or checkout are logistics estimates provided by courier networks and are not binding delivery guarantees.

3. Tracking Your Consignment
As soon as your order is booked with our courier partner, an automated dispatch confirmation containing your AWB / Consignment Tracking Number will be sent to your registered Email and mobile number (via SMS/WhatsApp).

Customers can track their shipments in real time on the official courier portal (e.g., DTDC Tracking).

4. Shipping Address Accuracy & Incomplete Details
Shipments are dispatched strictly to the delivery address, landmark, and phone number provided by the buyer at checkout.

StudyUpIndia.com is not liable for delayed, misrouted, or failed deliveries caused by:

Incomplete house/flat numbers, missing street names, or missing landmarks.

Incorrect or unserviceable PIN codes.

Unreachable, switched-off, or incorrect contact numbers.

5. Mid-Transit Policy & Doorstep Parcel Refusal (RTO)
No Cancellation After Dispatch: Once an order has been assigned an AWB tracking number and dispatched, it cannot be canceled or recalled mid-transit.

Parcel Refusal / Unclaimed Consignment:

If a buyer rejects the delivery at their doorstep, refuses payment on delivery, or fails to collect the parcel from the local courier branch, the consignment will be returned to our warehouse as RTO (Return to Origin).

In case of Refund: Forward shipping charges and return courier expenses incurred on the package will be deducted from the total order value. Only the residual amount for the books will be refunded.

In case of Re-Shipping: If the customer requests re-delivery of an RTO shipment, fresh shipping charges must be paid in full before the parcel is re-dispatched.

Non-Refundable Shipping Charges: Any shipping or handling fees paid at checkout are strictly non-refundable once the shipment has left our warehouse.

6. Transit Delays & Force Majeure
StudyUpIndia is not responsible for transit delays caused by circumstances beyond our direct control, including severe weather disruptions, local strikes, courier sorting hub operational issues, or transit restrictions. Our support team will assist you in escalating any transit delays directly with the logistics carrier.
